Assembly Mechanic – Industrial Machinery
About the Position:
Seeking an experienced Assembly Mechanic to assemble, install, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble industrial machinery, mechanical components, and equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform mechanical adjustments, fitting, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; technical school or mechanical apprenticeship preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical assembly experience.
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
Compensation: $22.00 - $27.50 per hour
